EDUCATION The Portfolio Center Atlanta Georgia (1999 - 2002) Graduate with concentration in Graphic Design. Georgia State University Atlanta Georgia (1996 - 1999) Studied Journalism and Art History. WORK EXPERIENCE Chaves & Loiz Studio (2005 - Present) Along with partner Ben Loiz, the studio has developed logos, illustrations, posters, and projections for a variety of clients both in Los Angeles and over seas. In addition to commercial clients the duo has also been involved in group and solo exhibitions, art benefits for a variety of causes and initiated an art and learning workshop for public school 1st graders. Hennessey + Ingalls (2003 - Present) Part time at Los Angeles’ premier art and design book store. Designed their trade catalog as well as general book store tasks. Freelance Projects (2002 - 2005) Designed posters and promotional items for CalState LA opera program, Stages Theatre Center & Todosonidos Presenta. Various illustration, design and photography for Eastern Developments Music, Interborough Rock Tribune and City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs. COMPUTER SKILLS Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXPress and an understanding of motion graphics. Full knowledge of the Macintosh operating system. LANGUAGE SKILLS Fluent in English and Español. TRAVEL I lived in Uruguay South America from the age of six until I was fourteen. I have traveled to England, France, Holland, Austria, Italy, Spain and Greece. References upon request
